With the very wet 2007 Farleigh Castle "King of the Castle" meeting behind Herefordshire Twinshock club, thoughts have now turned to 2008. As some motorsport buffs amongst you will know 2008 will mark the 70th year that motorsport events have been held at Farleigh Castle and with this in mind Herefordshire Twinshock Club are looking to incorporate the normal fun of Farleigh Castle with some extra special highlights to mark this special year. The club is looking to put together a special programme for the event with pictures and stories detailing the history of this most famous motocross track. The date of the 2008 "King of the Castle" meeting will be held at the traditional GP time of year; 5th and 6th July. As many will remember Farleigh GP was traditionally the "scorching" weather GP and Herefordshire Twinshock Club have booked the sun for 2008! The classes for 2008 will remain similar to last year with only the classics changing to 2 classes split between 2-stroke classics and 4-stroke classics.

If you would like to marshal at the Farleigh Castle meeting please contact Emma so that she can save you your favourite viewing place at this world famous circuit. Marshals will be paid £30 per day - so that's £60 for the weekend - plus you will be fed and watered!!!
